This guide is intended for all users of the DEC 3000 Model
500X AXP system. It describes how to install and operate the
DEC 3000 Model 500X AXP workstation. To install options in
the DEC 3000 Model 500X AXP system, refer to the DEC 3000
Model 500X AXP Options Guide.
This guide consists of 13 chapters, 5 appendices, a glossary of
technical terms, and an index, and is organized into four parts
as Table 1 describes:

users who understand advanced
system operations.
