Make sure that the power On/Off switch is in the Off (O)
Step 8: Plug
Cord Into position, and then plug the other end of the power cord into a
power outlet of the correct voltage.

Step 9: Check
unit is set to the correct position, according to your monitor

Refresh Switch documentation's frequency refresh rate. For monitors that run
at 72 Hz, the switch should be in the up, or two-dot position, as
shown in Figure 3–9. For monitors that run at 66 Hz, the switch
should be in the down, or one-dot position.
