The DECsound application, shipped with your DEC 3000
DECsound
Application Model 500X AXP workstation as part of the OpenVMS AXP
DECwindows Motif layered product kit, is an easy-to-use
software application that lets you play back recorded messages,
record audio messages, mail recorded messages, and include
recorded messages in compound documents.
XMedia Audio support for DEC OSF/1 AXP systems is provided by
Application XMedia, Digital's distributed multimedia software development
environment.
