No diskette is in the diskette
drive.
Diskette was inserted
incorrectly.
Diskette is damaged or does
not contain software.
Two SCSI identifiers are set to
the same number.

Corrective Action
Insert a software diskette. Use
the instructions in your software
documentation.
Check that the write-protect notch on
the diskette is to your left when you
insert the diskette and that the label
is up.
Try another diskette that contains
software.
Reset each SCSI ID to a unique
number. (See the previous section on
Understanding SCSI ID Numbers,
or refer to DEC 3000 Model 500X
AXP Options Guide for information on
setting SCSI IDs.)
