Central to the operation of the Freeway router is the control card
.
The Freeway control card is used to control and configure the router (o p t io n a lly
two cards may be fitted to provide backup in the event that one microprocessor
card should fail).
Setting the OIL switch
The
purpose
of (and default positions) of each of the switches is gi
ven below.

description of each of the diagnostic LEOs (see configuration section) is given in
the diagram opposite.
