1 2 Downloading Motorola s-record HEX
files
It is
required
that the Boot Program, Main Program and OEM protocol routines be
able to be downloaded from a disk. A PC based program can be used to download
the files to the
Freeway
control card via the RS232 General Remote port set to be
an editor port. A file would be downloaded by typin
g,
at the command prompt,
downloader program name followed by the filename of the HEX file to download.
The downloader will allow Boot programs or Normal programs (i.e. Main program
and OEM program) to be downloaded
.
There
are special PC downloader programs to download main program and OEM
protocol routines.
