Once POST completes, the system attempts to boot from either the default boot
device, or the temporary boot device selected from the BBS Popup menu. If
available, an operating system is loaded.
The system is ready for use.

Powering Off the Server for Orderly Shutdown

Use the procedures in one of the following sections to perform an orderly shutdown. These
procedures cause ACPI-enabled operating systems to perform an orderly shutdown of the
operating system. Servers not running ACPI-enabled operating systems shut down to standby
power mode immediately.
