Checking the secondary shaft
- Take out the gears and the shim washers of the
secondary shaft once the locks have been re-
moved
- Check there gear studs and clefts are not roun-
ded or show signs of abnormal wear
- Check the secondary shaft rings for wear
- Replace them if 25% of their surface is worn
- Make sure that the secondary shaft roller bear-
ings show no signs of wear. Otherwise, replace it.
