4-Head Locking Pin Test Procedure
Objective
Ensure the lid locking pin engages the locking collar of the spindle when the pressure in the fry pot
reaches 2psi and greater and also to ensure the lid locking pin remains engaged as pressure releases
at 2psi.

1. Remove the reducer from the test fixture
(figure 1)
2. Install the supplied elbow from the test
fixture into the t-fitting with pipe thread
sealant (figure 2.)
3. Remove the existing safety relief valve
(figure 3.)
4. Install the test fixture into the safety
relief valve elbow using pipe thread
sealant (figure 4.)
