Disconnect power to the fryer

Lower the control board.
2.
Inspect the area behind the

control board for oil that has
seeped through any of the
fittings (Figure 2).
Inspect if oil is seeping through

the temperature probe /
thermostat fitting, the high limit
fitting or any of the six heating
element fittings (Figure 2). If oil is
found seeping through fittings
but is not touching either
contactor, this situation does not
shut down the fryer, but would
need to be cleaned as soon as
possible.
If oil is excessive enough that it is
5.
touching either contactor (figure
1 & 2), shut down the fryer until
the oil migration issue is taken
care of. In this situation, the
contactors need to be replaced,
the oil needs to be cleaned up
and the fittings need to be
cleaned and resealed
