Before each fault clearance: − switch off device

After each fault clearance, put into operation and recheck all security installations.

Engine does not start.
Engine starts and is

Cutting thread is not

− wait until the cutting device no longer moves
− pull off the spark plug connector
− wear gloves
Possible cause
 Incorrect starting sequence
 Air filter contaminated
 Fuel filter fouled
 Spark plug fouled
 No fuel supply
 Fault in the fuel line
 Cranking mechanism defective
 Spark plug connector not placed on
 No ignition spark
 Engine flooded.
 Engine defective
 Carburettor defective
 Incorrect idle adjustment
 Machine overloaded.
 Cutting thread too short/broken.
 Device overloaded as grass too high.
 Air filter contaminated
 Carburettor incorrectly adjusted
 Silencer blocked
 Carburettor incorrectly adjusted
 Spark plug fouled
 Cutting blade dull or damaged
 Device overloaded as grass too high
 Cutting thread too short/broken.

 No more thread on the spool.
 Cutting thread entangled.
 Incorrect fuel
 Carburettor incorrectly adjusted
Removal
 Observe the correct starting sequence
 Clean or replace the air filter
 Clean or replace the fuel filter
 Clean or replace the spark plug
 Fill the fuel tank.
 Check the fuel line for kinks or damages
 Contact the customer service.
 Screw off, clean and dry the spark plug. Then pull the
cranking rope several times and reinstall the spark
plug
 Place on the spark plug connector.
a) Clean or replace the spark plug.
b) Check the ignition cable.
c) Fault cannot be eliminated?

Follow up the cutting thread.

 Trim the grass in several passes.
 Clean or replace the air filter

 Have the cutting blade sharpened or replace it
 Trim the grass in several passes.
Follow up the cutting thread.


 Use Petrol: Octane number at least 91 ROZ unleaded
