(3) Disassembling PTO Clutch

Removing Steering Post Assembly and Disconnecting Brake
Rods
1. Remove the split pin (5) from the accelerating rod. Disconnect
the accelerating rod (4) from the accelerating pedal link.
2. Remove the split pin (7) (9) (11) (13) from the brake lever (8),
(12). Disconnect the brake rods (2) (6) from the brake lever (8)
(12).
3. Remove the steering post mounting bolts (3).
4. Remove the steering post (1), using a nylon sling.
5. Remove the step.
(When reassembling)
• If the split pin is damaged, replace it.
• Install the brake lever as shown in the pictures.
• Split the split pins as shown in the pictures.
