Cleaning Front Grille and Radiator Screen
CAUTION
• Be sure to stop the engine before removing the screen.
1. Fully turn the steering handle clockwise.
2. Check front grille to be sure it is clean from debris.
3. Open the bonnet.
4. Detach the screen and remove all the foreign material.
IMPORTANT
• Grille and screen must be clean from debris to prevent
engine from overheating and to allow good air intake for the
air cleaner.
(1) Front Grille
Checking Brake Pedals and CLutch Pedal Free Play
WARNING
• Be sure brake pedals have equal adjustment when using
locked together.
adjustment can cause the tractor to swerve or roll-over.
1. Inspect the brake and clutch pedals for free travel, and smooth
operation.
2. Adjust if incorrect measurement is found:
(See "Adjusting Clutch Pedal" and "Adjusting Brake Pedal" in
"CHECK POINTS OF EVERY 100 HOURS".)

Clutch pedal free play
(1) Lock Nut
(2) Turnbuckle
(3) Clutch Rod
(4) Nut
(5) Cotter Pin
Checking Gauge, Meter and Easy Checker (TM)
1. Inspect the instrument panel for broken gauge(s), metal(s) and
Easy Checker(TM).
2. Replace it if it is broken.
(1) Coolant Temperature Gauge
(2) Fuel Gauge
(3) Turn Signal / Hazard Light indicator
(4) Engine Oil Pressure Lamp

(2) Radiator Screen
Incorrect or unequal brake pedal
15 to 20 mm
(5/8 to 13/16 in.)
Keep the free travel in the
right and left brake pedals
equal.
20 to 30 mm
(13/16 to 1-3/16 in.) on
the pedal
A : Free Travel (Brake Pedal)
B : Free Travel (Clutch Pedal)
(5) Glow Plug Indicator
(6) Electrical Charge Lamp
(7) Hourmeter / Tachometer
