Protect Mode - Omron e5ck User Manual

• The protect function restricts key use to prevent unwanted key operation. Before
changing parameters in this mode, first make sure that protecting the keys will not
cause any problems in operation.
• To select this mode, press the
minimum. To exit this mode, press the
for 1 second minimum.
• The following table shows the parameters supported in this mode and the page where
the parameter is described.
Security
• This parameter specifies which parameters are protected. Note that the protect mode
and manual mode cannot be protected.
Function
• Only the modes indicated by the F" mark in the table below can be selected on the
menu display. For example, when this parameter is set to 3", only levels 0 and 1 and
the program mode can be selected.
Setting
• When this parameter is set to 0", the protection function is disabled.
• When this parameter is set to 5", only the parameters in the level 0 mode can be used,
and the menu display is not selected.
• When this parameter is set to 6", PV/Present SP" parameter can only be displayed.
(The set point cannot be changed.)
• Default is 1". (Only the calibration mode is protected.)
