Note: When installing the cooling fan, make sure that the label side (B) is outside.

Controller board removal

1. Remove the right cover. See
2. Remove the controller board shield. See
3. Disconnect all cables from the controller board.
Installation warning (for bizhub 4020): The cables (JCART1 and JLIFT) are not interchangeable.
JCART1 connects to the cartridge motor, while JLIFT goes to the lift motor. Plugging these
connectors incorrectly could lead to damage on the imaging unit.
