Pouring water and setting the inner pot
in the rice cooker.
Guide of water amount
If you reduce or increase water from the basic amount in
the table below, keep the reduction or increase within 1/3
scale unit from the basic amount. Otherwise the content
may boil over.

• The guide above can also be used for rinse-free rice.
• To cook multi-grain rice, germinated brown rice, rice with
embryo buds or semi-polished rice, add water to slightly
higher than the corresponding "Plain" scale line.
• When cooking germinated brown rice or multi-grain rice,
read the instructions on the sales package (if any) and
adjust water based on them.
• For long grain rice, use the "Plain" scale line.
• For brown rice porridge, use the "Porridge" scale line.
Scales of inner pot
The scales of the inner pot are guide only.
Adjust the water amount to make the texture and scorch
you like.

Adjust water amount.
Place the inner pot on a flat surface
and level the rice in it.
Pour water up to the corresponding
scale line of the menu inside the
inner pot.
Example : To cook 3 cups of white rice,
pour water up to "3" of the
"Plain" scale.
Level the rice
Note
Do not pour hot water (approximately 35°C or
more). Otherwise rice may not be cooked well.

Wipe off water drops and rice
grains from the inner pot,
inside of body and inner lid,
and check for clogging.

● Be sure to remove rice grains adhering to the
upper casing, around the catch and inner lid.

● Otherwise the lid may not be closed, steam
may leak during cooking, or the lid may open
causing the content to boil over or hot water to
spill out, resulting in burn or injury.

Notes
● The lid may be slightly hard to close since the
inside of inner pot of pressure rice cooker is
highly air-tight. Check that the lid is completely
closed.
● Be careful not to touch an operation key when
closing the lid.
● The lid cannot be closed if the inner lid is not
attached.
