Opening the lid
Warning
Be sure to observe the following procedure
to open the lid.
Failure to do so may result in burn or injury
due to boiling over of the content.
Check that no steam is coming out of the
steam vent.
Check that
indication is off.

Loosening rice immediately
after cooked
Loosening rice immediately after
cooked allows excess water to
evaporate.
* Dew may form on the surface of cooked rice
due to high heat-storage performance of the
clay pot.

Inner pot
● Immediately after cooking or during keeping
warm, if water drops run on the upper case or
outside the body when you open the lid, always
wipe them off.
A large amount of dew may be observed
depending on the menu.
Notes
● When loosening cooked rice, smooth it in such
a way as to not leave rice on the wall of the
inner pot. The small amount of rice on the pot
wall will dry while being kept warm due to high
heat-storage performance of the clay pot.

After use
Touch the [Cancel] key.
Disconnect the power plug and the
plug.
Clean the rice cooker after use.

Notes
● Be careful not to touch an operation key when
closing the lid.
● The previous menu and keep-warm setting are
retained.
To start keeping warm again
To change from "KeepWarm Off" or "KeepWarm
6Hours" to "KeepWarm On" (continuous keeping
warm), perform the following procedure.
Touch the [Cancel] key.
Touch the [KeepWarm] key and
select "Immediate".
Touch the [Start/Rinse-free] key to
confirm the selection.
* If you canceled keeping warm (e.g., by touching
the [Cancel] key) and want to start it again, perform
steps
and
above.
