Introduction
Total Access System Release 4.5 allows the user to configure the alarm severity level for all T3
and T1 fault alarms, along with being able to enable or disable all alarms. The alarm severities
are provisioned on a per‐slot basis.
Default Severities
Table H‐2 displays the T3 and T1 alarms and their default severities.
T3 Alarm Severity Level
To set the alarm severity level for a T3 alarm, complete the following steps:
1. From the Enable prompt, type configure terminal , and press E
2. From the Global Configuration prompt, type interface t3 <shelf/slot/port> , and
3. From the T3 Configuration prompt, type alarm level <alarm_name>
