    Saving the running configuration to startup configuration stores the updated configuration files to NVRAM. Configuration files can be downloaded from the NetVanta 7100 as well as reloaded into the NetVanta 7100. In addition to following the steps, you can quickly save your configuration at any time by selecting the button at the top right of your current menu.

    Voice trunks are the telephone lines delivered to the carrier in digital or analog format (e.g., T1 or trunk FXO lines). Trunk lines connect the NetVanta 7100 to the outside telephone network. The incoming lines are linked to physical interfaces on the system. These interfaces control which resources are used for outbound calls.
