Contact Management
If you do not have sufficient privileges or do not want
to modify the system speed dialling directory, you
can use your personal speed dialling directory. For
details, see "Personal Speed Dialling (Page 108)".
However, these contacts do not appear in your local
directory.
Details for System Speed Dialling
Settings
Dialling Number
Enter the 3-digit number that is used to dial this
speed dial number. When you add an entry, an
unused number is automatically entered when this
window appears. If you enter only 1 or 2 digits, zeros
are added to the beginning of the number so that it
becomes 3 digits. For example, if you enter "1", it is
saved as "001".
Value range: 000–999
Phone Number
Enter the phone number that will be called when this
speed dial number is dialled.
When you enter an outside number, be sure to enter
the outside line access number as the first digit in
the number. If you do not include this number, you
will be prompted to add it when you press OK.
Maximum 32 digits
Allowed characters: *, #, P (pause), 0–9
Phone Name
Enter the name to associate with the system speed
dialling entry.
Maximum 20 characters
Note
If you use characters that are not supported by
the PBX, those characters will not display
correctly on other devices. For a partial list of
characters supported by the PBX, see
"Character Tables (Page 155)". For a full list,
see the documentation for the PBX.
