To get started with configuring the XT Series and customizing it to fit your network requirements, we recommend
following the workflow described in
You can manage the XT Series as follows:
• From the endpoint
You can perform all maintenance from the endpoint itself using the XT Remote Control Unit. To do so, you must
first enable advanced configuration (see

• From the web interface
You can perform all maintenance from the web interface. To do so, remote management must be enabled, as
described in Managing your XT Series from the Web Interface
• From Scopia Management's administrator web interface
You can perform system upgrades, back up configuration settings, and add your endpoint to the organization's
