Enabling a PIN

NOTE Emergency calls can be placed at any time without a SIM card installed or with an active SIM. If the SIM
card is installed but inactive, emergency calls cannot be made. Remove the SIM card to make an
emergency call. A PIN is not required to make an emergency call.
