Cam Chain Tensioner Installation; Alternator Installation - Honda 1988 Z50R Service Manual

ALTERNATOR / CAM / CHAIN TENSIONER
Check the push rod for wear or damage.
Measure the push rod 0.0.
SERVICE LIMIT: 11 ,94 mm (0.470 in)
Check the sealing washer for damage.
CAM CHAIN TENSIONER INSTALLATION
Install the tensioner arm with the pivot bolt.
Install the push rod and tensioner spring.
Remove the bolt and washer.
Pour 1 cc of engine oil into the push rod then install the sealing
washer and bolt.
ALTERNATOR INSTALLATION
Install the O-rings and the stator coil base.
NOTE
Be careful not to damage the Q-rings.
Install the woodruff key.
