Cylinder Head Assembly; After '91 - Honda 1988 Z50R Service Manual

After cutting the seat , apply compound to the valve face and lap
the valve using light pressure.
After lapping. wash all residual compound off the cylinder head
and valve.

NOTE
Install new valve stem seals after disassembling.
Lubricate each valve stem with oil and insert t he valves mto the
guides.
Install t he outer spring seal S, stem seals and inner springs.
Install the outer spri ngs and retainers.
After '91
NOTE
Install new valve st em seals after disassembling.
Lubricate each valve stem wi t h oil and in sert the valves into
the g uides.
Install the spring seats, stem seals, springs and retainers.
Install the valve cotters using the valve spring compressor .
CAUTION
To prel'enlloss of lension, do not compress the I'alve springs more
than necessary to install the COllers.
