CYLINDER HEAD /VALVES
Install the cam sprocket, aligning the " 0 " mark on the cam
sprocket with the index mark on the cylinder head.
Install the cam chain over the sprocket.
Install the set plate and tighten the cam sprocket bolts to the
specified torque.
Recheck the valve timing.
Install the push rod, tensioner spring, washer and sealing bolt
ipage 9~4) .
Install the cylinder head left side cover, aligning the boss of the
left side cover with the cutout in the cylinder head .
Install the following:
- intake pipe, carburetor and air cleaner housing
- exhaust pipe with the joint nuts and mounting bolts (page 5·3)
- front wheel (page 11 -6)
- leh crankcase cover
Adjust the tappet clearance {page 3-6l.
CAMSHAFT INSTALLATION (After '911
Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise and align the " T " mark
on the flywheel with the index mark on the left crankcase.
