CLUTCH / GEARSHIFT LINKAGE

Measure the clutch discs if they show signs of scoring of dis-
coloration.
Measure the disc thickness.
SERVICE LIMIT :
Disc A 2 .3mm (0.091in)
Disc B 3 .0mm (0.118inl
Check for plate warpage on a surface plate using a feeler gauge.
SERVice LIMIT: 0 .2 mm 10.01 in)
Inspect the primary drive gear and collar for wear or damage.
Measure the primary drive gear 1.0. and t he center guide 0.0.
and 1.0.
SERVICE LIMITS:
Gear 1.0.
Centar guide 1.0.
0 .0 .
Measure the crankshaft 0.0.
