Step 3: Read Selected Unit Performance
Unit performance should be calculated considering the following correction factors:
Correction Factor According to Piping Length (Subchapter 4.6):
§ Cooling = 0.85
§ Heating = 0.94
Correction Factor for Defrosting Operation (Subchapter 4.8) = 0.89
Correction Factor According to Temperature Condition:
§ Cooling (Subchapter 4.4) = 1.03
§ Heating (Subchapter 4.5) = 0.94
Step 3a: Outdoor Unit Performance Capacity
Cooling Capacity = 14.8 x 0.85 x 1.03 = 12.96 kW
Heating Capacity = 17.8 x 0.94 x 0.94 x 0.89 = 14.00 kW
