Questions and answers
I got in contact a couple of days ago and was told I would have a call back but have not heard anything. I am replacing a consumer unit that includes a circuit supplying a Hitachi RAM-65QH4 air conditioner. It is currently protected by a 16A type B (overcurrent protection type) MCB. Ideally the circuit going forwards would have RCD protection on it. What RCD type is required? E.g. type A, type B... Could I put it on a type A (RCD type) RCBO or do I need to put it on a type B RCD?
