Piping System and Additional refrigerant (FXG series)
ITEM
Example of Systems
This figure shows an example of 5 indoor units combined
with one outdoor unit.
The refrigerant pipes are shown as single line in the
diagrams.
However in the field, liquid line piping, gas (high) line
piping and gas (low) gas piping are required between the
outdoor unit and the CH unit, and liquid line piping and
gas line piping are required between the CH unit and the
indoor unit.
?
NOTE:
Provide oil trap to both gas lines at every Ht meters lift.
(Ht is indicated in Chapter 13.1.1).
*CH Units should be installed in the same floor

Quantity of Additional Refrigerant Charge
The quantity is calculated by the following
equation:
W (kg) = W11+W12+W2
1) W11 (kg): (Total Length (m) of Ø12.7
Liquid Piping) x 0.120
W12 (kg): (Total Length (m) of Ø9.53
Liquid Piping) x 0.065
W13 (kg): (Total Length (m) of Ø6.35
Liquid Piping) x 0.026
2) W2 (kg)
