10.2.4. AUTOMATIC OPERATION WHEN POWER
SUPPLY ON (5)
If the power supply is interrupted for short periods of time
(up to 2 seconds) the Remote Control switch will retain the
settings and the unit will restart when the power is restored.
If Automatic Restart is required after periods of lost power
supply in excess of 2 seconds, this can be done by
changing the DIP switch setting as shown.

NOTE:
All other DIP switches must correspond to the factory
settings for the particular Indoor Unit.
The unit will start even if it was switched off prior to the
power failure.
10.2.5. RESTARTING FUNCTION AFTER POWER
FAILURE (6)

10.2.6. CONTROL BY FIELD SUPPLIED ROOM
THERMOSTAT (7)
When operating the unit with a field supplied room
thermostat instead of the inlet thermistor of the indoor unit,
connections should be made as shown.
Heating:
Use connection 1 & 2 (only heat pump
models)
Cooling:
Use connection 2 & 3
- When setting the DIP switch DSW2, firstly switch off
power source and set the DIP switch. If the DIP switch
is set without turning off the power will not function.
- The Remote Control switch must remain connected to
the unit. When the power supply is restored, the Unit
must be started by pressing the RUN button. The
compressor will then operate under the control of the
field supplied thermostat. All other functions are
controlled by the Remote Control in the normal way.

10.2.7. PICKING UP SIGNALS

By using this function, the signals indicated can be picked
up giving information about how the unit is working in order
to activate the necessary additional devices.

Picking Up Operation Signal (8)
This function is utilized to pick up the operation signal. By
this function, operation signal at a remote place can be
checked, or operation at the fresh air intake fan motor can
be interlocked.
When the unit is switched ON, the relay RY is energized
closing contacts RYa

Picking up Alarm Signal (9)
This option is used to give remote indication of a fault on the
unit in addition to the LED indication on the standard
Remote Control. (RUN LED flashes 5 times/5seconds).
When a fault occurs, the auxiliary relay RY is energized and
remains so until the fault is cleared and the unit is reset at
the standard Remote Control. Wiring details are shown
below.
