TRANSMISSION
31. Lightly tap on the bearing from the opposite side to remove
it
from the snorkel tube.
Gear I Shaft I Bearing Inspection
32. Remove the retaining ring to remove the remaining washer,
bearing and gear from the snorkel shaft.

Snorkel Gear
Inspect all gear sets and shafts for
excessive wear or damage.
IMPORTANT: If gear replacement is
required, be sure to also replace the
corresponding gear or gear shaft.
