Checking the chain, rear sprocket, motor sprocket, and chain guide
Preparatory work

Deactivate the vehicle. (

Fold the seat up. (
–
Remove the KTM PowerPack. (
–
Mount the covering cap. (
–
Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (
Main work
–
Check the rear sprocket and motor sprocket for wear.

If the rear sprocket and motor sprocket are worn:
–
Change the power set.

Pull at the top part of the chain with the specified weight

Measure the distance

Chain wear is not always even, so you should repeat this measurement at
different chain positions.

Change the chain sliding guard.

Check that the chain sliding guard is firmly seated.

Tighten the screws on the chain sliding guard.
