[K] Set EFI Printer Board
When the EFI Printer Board (GA-1211) has been installed, reinstall it (=reset its setting) according to
the following procedure.
(1) Turn OFF the power of the equipment and EFI Printer Board.
(2) Disconnect the interface cable and the network cable (cross cable) with which the equipment and
the EFI Printer Board are connected.
(3) Connect the network connector on the LAN side of the EFI Printer Board with a PC for download-
ing using the network cable (cross cable).
(4) Turn ON the 2 DIP-SWs in the EFI Printer Board.
(5) Turn ON the power of the EFI Printer Board.
(6) Check if "FF" is displayed on the LCD in the EFI Printer Board.
(7) Set the CD-ROM to the download PC.
1. Set Disk 1.
2. When the message for replacing the disk is displayed, set Disk 2.
3. The installation is finished when a message announcing this appears.
(8) Turn OFF the power of the EFI Printer Board.
(9) Turn OFF the 2 DIP-SWs of the EFI Printer Board.
(10) Disconnect the network cable (cross cable) with which the EFI Printer Board and the PC for
downloading are connected.
(11) Connect the equipment with the EFI Printer Board using the interface cable and the network
cable (cross cable).
(12) Turn ON the power of the equipment and the EFI Printer Board.
(13) Check that "00" is displayed on the LCD of the EFI Printer Board.
(14) Turn the power OFF of the equipment and start the setting mode (08).
(15) Initialize the EFI Printer Board (08-700).
• Key in [700] and then press the [START] button.
• Press the [ENTER] button on the LCD.
(16) Turn OFF the power of the equipment.
[L] Reinstall options
When any of the options below was installed, reinstall a license for the corresponding option following
its unpacking instructions.
• Meta Scan Enabler (GA-1010)
• External Interface Enabler (GA-1020)
• Data Overwrite Enabler (GP-1070)
• IPSec Enabler (GP-1080)
