Configuring a Local User List: Passwords for Web, SSH,
and FTP Access
When you configured the router for HTTP or HTTPS access, you entered a
username and password. You can use this username and password to access
the ProCurve Secure Router through Secure Shell (SSH) and FTP.
All of the usernames and passwords that you configure using the username
command from the global configuration mode context in the CLI are stored
in the local user list. The Web browser interface simplifies management of this
local user list. You can view all of the usernames and passwords that have
been configured in the local user list, and you can add or delete usernames
and passwords.
