Because the company is using default settings for line coding (B8ZS) and
frame format (ESF) on the T1-carrier lines, the network administrator did not
enter these settings. Consequently, they are not listed when you enter the
following command from the enable mode context:
ProCurve# show running-config
To view all of the configuration settings—including the default settings—you
must enter:
ProCurve# show running-config verbose
Example 3: Two Routers Authenticating Each Other with PAP. In this
example, the router at Site A (hostname Local) and the router at Site B
(hostname Remote) authenticate each other with PAP. Local's password is
XXX, and Remote's password is YYY. (See Figure 6-13.)
