56. Uneven Exposure Adjustment

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the reflector or the fiber-optic cable.
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD:
1. Place the test chart on the exposure glass and make a copy. If the test
copy is not within specifications, continue with this procedure.
3. Turn off the main switch.
4. Remove the exposure glass.
5. Position the adjusting plates [A] so that the copy image meets the
adjustment standard. The leading edges of the four adjusting plates
must be aligned to avoid white streaks.
The side-to-side variation of the gray scales
of the test chart should be less than 1 level.
