12. Original Leading Edge Registration Adjustment
Adjustment Standard:
NOTE: Before this adjustment, check the copier's leading edge registration
adjustment and original skew.
1. Set the original application switch in the thin position.
2. Open the DF main board plate (2 screws), and set DPS 102 as follows:
DPS 102 l = OFF 2 = ON 3 = OFF 4 = ON

[Forward Adjustment]
3. Insert an A3/11" x 17" original in the feed-in unit, and press SW101 on
the DF main board to feed the original.
4. Slowly open the DF transport unit, and check that the original regis-
tration is 0.l to 0.2 mm.

NOTE: Turn VR106 counterclockwise to delay original stop timing.
[Reverse Adjustment]
5. Insert an A3/11" x 17" original in the feed-in unit, and press SW101 on
the DF main board to feed the original. Press SW 102 to reverse the
original.
6. Slowly open the DF transport unit, and check that the original regis-
tration is 0.1 to 0.2 mm.

NOTE: Turn VR105 clockwise to delay original stop timing.
7. Turn VR105 counterclockwise half a calibration notch.
Forward : 1.0 to 2.0 mm
Reverse : 0.0 mm
If not, adjust it using VR106 on the DF main
If not, adjust it using VR105 on the DF main
