10. Remove the two screws at the back of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive to detach
the interposer board from the drive (see letter "A" in the following figure).
Carefully pull the interposer board from the drive, detaching the interposer board
connector from the drive (see letter "B").

11. If you are installing a replacement optical drive, skip the rest of these steps and
instead continue with
page 51.
12. Store the brackets and interposer board for future use.
13. Insert the PCI cooling fan onto the mounting pegs that are located behind the
optical drive bay. The fan label should face the rear of the system. See letter "A" in
the following figure.
