Replacing the Power Supply (SR1530HCL/
SR1530HCLS)
The power supply can be replaced if it fails or if one of the fans that is integrated into it
fails. To replace the power supply, use the following instructions.
1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See
Information" on page
2. Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3. Remove the server system cover. For instructions, see
System
4. Remove the processor air duct. For instructions, see
Duct" on page
5. Disconnect all power cables connected to the server board and peripherals:
— A: Aux power signal
— B: 2x12 main power connector
— C: 2x4 power connector
— D: Daisy-chain cable to optical drive power, if optical drive is installed.
— E: 2x4 backplane power connector
