The system status LED uses colors and blink codes as outlined in the following table.

Description
•
More than one DIMM is installed, but system cannot
use all of the installed memory.
•
Correctable memory errors have passed the
threshold of 10. Memory sparing is enabled and the
system is migrating to a spare DIMM. DIMM
redundancy is lost because of this.
•
The system is in a mirrored configuration and has
lost memory redundancy.
•
A PCI-Express link error has occurred.
•
A processor has failed or is disabled.
•
A fan failed.
•
A temperature or voltage threshold has been
crossed.
•
A critical voltage threshold has been crossed.
•
The minimum number of fans needed to cool the
system are not available or not working.
•
In non-sparing and non-mirroring mode the
threshold of ten correctable errors has been crossed
within an allotted time window.
•
Only one DIMM is installed and that DIMM has
failed, or multiple DIMMs are installed and none is
usable.
•
An uncorrectable rn-time memory uncorrectable
error occurred and the system is in a non-redundant
mode.
•
The IERR signal has been asserted.
•
Processor 1 is missing.
•
Temperature critical threshold crossed (CPU
ThermTrip, memory TempHi)
•
Power fault
•
Processor configuration error, such as a processor
stepping mismatch)
