6. Remove the two screws that secure the bracket to the optical drive, as shown in the
following figure. Save these screws and the bracket for future use.

7. Remove the two screws at the back of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive to detach
the interposer board (see letter "A" in the following figure). Carefully pull the
interposer board from the drive, detaching the interposer board connector from the
drive (see letter "B").
