7. Position the drive with the drive connectors facing up, as shown in the following
figure. Set the drive carrier over the drive (see letter "A"). The data and power
connectors must be positioned so they are accessible through the cut-out, as shown
by letter "B". Use the four screws provided to attach the drive to the carrier (see
letter "C").
8. Set the drive assembly into place in the chassis. See letter "A" in the following
figure.
9. Attach the drive assembly to the chassis with the screw that you removed
previously (see letter "B").
Note: The assembly that contains the optical drive bracket must be installed at the left side of the
system.
