7. Install PCI add-in card(s) if desired. For instructions, see

8. Install the PCI riser assembly into the server system. For instructions, see
"Installing the PCI Riser Assembly" on page
9. Connect any cables to add-in cards that require them. See your add-in card
documentation for information and add-in card requirements.
10. Install the server system cover. For instructions, see
Cover" on page
11. Plug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable into the server.

Replacing a PCI Riser Card

1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See
Information" on page
2. Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3. Remove the server system cover. For instructions, see
System Cover" on page
4. Disconnect any cables attached to any add-in cards.
5. Remove the PCI riser assembly. For instructions, see
Assembly" on page
6. Remove any add-in cards from the existing PCI riser connector. For instructions,
see
7. Remove the two screws that attach the existing riser card to the riser assembly. See
the following figure. Save these screws to be used later.
8. Install the replacement PCI riser card, if desired. For instructions, see
PCI Riser Card" on page
9. Install the PCI riser assembly into the server system. For instructions, see
