Glossary:
Avaya Media Server
A family of application-enabling processing platforms that are based on open CPUs and industry-standard operating
systems. Avaya Media Servers provide centralized Enterprise Class call processing that can be distributed across a
multiprotocol network that includes, but is not limited to, IP. In addition to supporting a highly diversified network
architecture, Avaya Media Servers provide user functionality, system management functionality, intelligent call routing,
application integration, mobility, and conferencing.
Avaya MultiService Console
The fault management infrastructure for a data switching environment that interfaces with device management and
provides event reporting and alarming.
Avaya MultiService Network Manager
The network management platform that is used with the Avaya product family.
Avaya Policy Manager
Software that implements policy management for Avaya products.
