Once the Nautica unit has been physically installed, it is
necessary to make sure the software is installed correctly and to
configure the unit.
Your Nautica unit can be configured in one of two ways. For
quick and simple installation, it is possible to configure a unit
using the Nautica Configuration Wizard (Nautica Wizard). For
more advanced installation procedures, Nautica Software Release
4 (BCC
TM
) can be used.
Nautica Wizard is a Windows 95
to graphically control the configuration and working of any
Nautica units attached to their network. This manual explains the
way Nautica Wizard can be used to configure a unit.
BCC is a command line interface that allows more advanced
configuration techniques. For details on how to use BCC, refer to
the Nautica Software Release 4 manual on the CD that
accompanies this installation.
