Audio 3.1Khz: If this voice port is only going to
receive data via a fax or modem, set the connection
mode to Audio 3.1Khz.
Reserved B Channel
None
None, B1, B2
Each voice device has two B channels; each channel can
carry a different call (data or voice). You can reserve one
of the two B channels for voice only. This means that if a
data call is using the channel when a voice call needs to
be made, the data call is dropped.
The values for this parameter are as follows:
None: No B channel is reserved.
B1: Channel B1 is reserved for voice calls.
B2: Channel B2 is reserved for voice calls.
Either: Either channel will be reserved for voice
only, depending on the usage of the channels.
Ring Cadence
Ring2
Ring2, Ring1, Ring3, RingRing
Ring cadence is the sound the telephone attached to the
voice device makes when a call is received.
The option is useful for identifying different types of
incoming calls, especially when this parameter is used in
conjunction with the Select Multi Subscriber Numbering
(MSN) option explained later.
The ring cadence values are as follows:
Ring1: A single ring every two seconds
Ring2: A double ring every two seconds
