Changes to Getting Started with Site Manager

This section describes changes regarding information provided in Getting Started
with Site Manager, as follows:
The Getting Started with Site Manager guide incorrectly states that Bay
Networks supplies the Distinct TCP/IP software with Site Manager. Before
installing Site Manager on a PC, install any WINSOCK-compatible TCP/IP
stack.
The booklet Installing BayStream Site Manager 7.2 accompanies the Site
Manager CD. Use this booklet in place of Chapter 1, "Installing Site
Manager" in Getting Started with Site Manager.

Additions to Configuring Line Services

The following sections describe additions to Configuring Line Services.

Setting the Asynchronous Baud Rate

You control the baud rate for Asynchronous PPP by setting the Async Baud Rate
parameter in the Edit Sync Parameters window. The baud rate is the transmission
speed (in bits per second) between the router and the modem. To set the baud rate
for the asynchronous interface, you must first set the WAN Serial Interface Type
parameter to Async.
