BACP CallBack Numbers
(Blank)
A maximum of four valid telephone numbers
Callback numbers to be supplied to a user requesting
additional bandwidth via Bandwidth Allocation Control
Protocol (BACP)
When you place a call to a remote unit and download
information, there are times when you need extra
bandwidth to receive the volume of data requested. In
these instances, the remote unit will supply you with a
callback number which your unit will dial to receive
extra bandwidth.
Similarly, remote users may download information from
your network and need to receive this information faster.
In these cases you will supply them with a number they
call back to achieve extra bandwidth.
The numbers entered in this parameter are the numbers
you will supply to a user asking for additional
bandwidth. These number are lines down which extra
data can be sent.
BACP is set in conjunction with the PPP Path
'Bandwidth' parameters as explained on
more information on BACP, refer to the Concepts
section of the Help file.
