Adding and Editing Paths

Although the Nautica router you have purchased will learn paths
as it receives information from other routers and networks, you
will also need to create and edit some of your own paths in order
to reach other destinations.
To edit an existing path (not LAN01; see

Enables or disables BOOTP Relay
Allows BOOTP Relay requests to be sent along this path
if the BOOTP Relay Agent parameter in the System
settings (page 7-5) is left at the default 255.255.255.255
For more information on BOOTP Relay, refer to the
Concepts section of the Help file.
In the Nautica Wizard window, select the unit that
contains the path you want to edit.
Click on
Advanced > Paths.
In the Paths table
Click on the Edit button.
The PPP Path 'Main' Parameters window will open
(Figure 8-3).
page 8-9 for information on this window.
In the Nautica Wizard window, select the unit to which
you want to add the path.
Click on
Advanced > Paths.
The Paths table appears.
Click on the Add button to add a path.
