Appendix C Catalyst 3750-X and 3560-X Show Platform Commands

show platform stack ports

Use the show platform stack ports privileged EXEC command to display platform-dependent stack
information.
Note This command is supported only on Catalyst 3750-X switches.

Usage Guidelines
Use this command only when you are working directly with your technical support representative while
troubleshooting a problem. Do not use this command unless your technical support representative asks
you to do so.
Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output
do not appear, but the lines that contain Output appear.
Examples This is an example of the show platform stack port buffer command output:
Switch# show platform stack ports buffer

Event type LINK: Link status change
Event type RAC: RAC changes to Not OK
Event type SYNC: Sync changes to Not OK

show platform stack ports {buffer | history}[ | {begin | exclude | include} expression]
Display the stack port link and sync state events.
Display the stack port history.
(Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression.
(Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression.
(Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression.
Expression in the output to use as a reference point.
